The Hidden Hill of Himachal

The hidden gem of Himachal is the Barot Valley , an offbeat place without  the huge crowd, but at the same time possessing the same hill station aura. It is  breathtakingly beautiful. We were initially staying in 33 degrees and suddenly reached a place where the temperature was 12 degrees. We were awestruck by the gigantic  Uhl river which was flowing all through the town, and it felt like it was with us throughout the journey giving us company. There was a full filmy feel.(Alexa play yeh haseen waadiyann!)  We reached our guest house which was like a haunted house of the movies(I am a movie lover 😅), it had an archaic look, big fireplace, and a scary housekeeper too!  The current kept going  to add to the eerie feels and to my horror, when i was alone one day, a GUEST  arrived..... Chronicles of Warangal

Disclaimer :All events described in this blog are non-fictitious and bear resemblance to people living or dead! After 2 years we finally decided to go for a short trip. It was road trip, wherein we had to drive for 3-4 hours to reach. As usual we started later than we planned 😂.  After a long ride we finally reached a beautiful campus. I did not know then that an adventurous trip awaits us then... First Adventure The first adventure began in the night. We went to sleep and unable to bear the scorching heat, switched on the AC. We were sound asleep when we heard scary noises like in horror movies. We got up petrified. (thank god we do not believe in ghosts 😂) After a lot of looking and scanning we found the source of the sound. It was the big large AC.  Yes, you heard it right i mean read it, it was the air conditioner making the horrific sounds (thud thud thish thish, along with snoring sounds lol) We had to turn it off and sleep with our friends heat and mosquitoes that day...

Little things that make my life worth living

   I get up in the morning, with a feeling of hope and hopeless at the same time. Feelings of hope ,as it is   beginning of  a new day and hopelessn ess, because of thoughts of all the evils; like death, rape discrimination, illnesses which keep lingering. I sit on the chair , in the balcony, my  favorite  place in the house,  I am coming to the title of the blog now..(its important to mention haha) so I sit and feel like I am hugged in the morning by the sunlight when the warm rays touch my skin, it feels like I am given a good morning kiss from a loved one. Then I  admire the beauty of the sky and the depth of the water in the lake visible from our balcony. There is a cup of coffee in my hand and there is an extra sense of taste and fragrance in it when I brew it.   So this was the first thing which makes my morning worth everyday.
